Well known for its beautiful beaches and impressive sand dunes, St Helens is located at the northern end of Tasmania’s east coast. In addition to the attractive beaches and dunes, the wonderful resources of the city are enjoyed by fishermen and sightseers alike. The city and surrounding areas have much to offer.

The town itself is a fishing port protected by Georges Bay. St Helen’s Point forms the bay and is a long headland. Much of the point is protected as a recreation area, and Humbug Point, on the other side of the bay, is a protected recreation area as well.

St Helens is the largest town on the east coast and it sits amongst some of the most beautiful and colorful scenery of Tasmania. Blue skies, white sands and lush green fields fill the senses as you tour the area, and with so much to see and do, St Helens is a fine location for exploring this beautiful region.
